This coming Sunday, we’re launching a brand new series that you don’t want to miss. It’s called “Consider The Tree” and focuses on five key aspects of spiritual growth: Chosen, Included, Changed, Empowered and Sent. The first week “Chosen” will be taught by myself, Ryan Townsend, and our pastor, Bob Willis. We’ve spent quite a bit of time getting ready for this one and are excited to see what God is going to do through our attempts to communicate what he’s saying to our church. Hey everyone, just a quick reminder that our small groups are now back in full swing, so contact us if you’d like to become involved in one or have ideas for the types of groups you’d like to see added. During the next several weeks, Bekah and I will be attempting to call every last person that we have a phone number for to find out how we can pray for each of you and how our group can serve people better. So, if we don’t have your number please let us know it…
In other exciting news, the small group that has been meeting at our house (Townsend’s) will be moving into the young adults room so that we can have more space and we will begin to offer childcare as soon as we can get it set up. Also, the new time for the group will be 6:30 pm.
We’ve added a new section to the page called thumbs up, check it out every week or so for the latest recommended widget from cyberspace. This week we have a video that I happen to look fat in.

Our small groups are starting up again, the days are getting longer (slowly), and we have a whole bunch of exciting things in store for 2008. A couple of things to mention now (look for a complete, “state of the union” type address coming next week)…
Our Sunday morning Conversations group discussion collaborative started a new series last week, Soul Cravings, if you missed it, don’t worry, we’re just getting started. 9:30 am, this Sunday. This discussion looks at the things that we desire and the things that are essential to our souls.
Secondly, mark your calendars now because the World Vision Experience: AIDS exhibit is rolling into Fresno on February 8-11 in the Campus Bible Church Gymnasium and we are going to encourage everyone we know to be a part of this…stay tuned for more info and times when you can attend as part of a group.
