Huron Here We Come
July 24, 2009
Hey everyone, it is not too late to sign up for the Huron Outreach. There is a mandatory meeting this Sunday at 11:30 am in the youth room. Message me if you need more info.
Also, we are still collecting clothes for men to take to the Rescue Mission. Drop those off at the church office or bring them to a Young Adults related function.
If you aren’t aware of it, we have a podcast on iTunes, you can subscribe by going to itunes and searching for Northpark Community Church, I think we are the first search result. Somebody write some reviews though…we are considering adding some music and other elements to the stream as well. See you this weekend at one of our gatherings!

Help The Poverello House
July 16, 2009
We recently have been told that the Poverello House has seen a dramatic decrease in donations of men’s clothing. We have decided to try and do our part in helping them out. We are asking everyone to take a look in their closets to try and find any men’s clothing that they will be able to donate. If you are not able to take the clothes yourself to the Poverello house, then you can drop them off at the Young Adults Room (202/206) at Northpark and we will take the clothes over for you. Let;s try and do our part to help the Poverello House in their time of need.

N-Park Young Adults/FIVE update
July 9, 2009
Hey everyone, Bekah and I are super excited to be back from our trip to Missouri. Thanks again for going with us in prayer and for loaning us out for nearly a month!
In case you missed any of the videos, I’ve posted them on facebook and on our youtube channel and blog.
We have a whole bunch of things going on this summer…
First, we have a brand new COLLEGE GROUP that meets in person at 7:00 pm on Thursdays in the Young Adults room and online on Fbook.
Contact Raul, for more info contact RaulHernandez2006@yahoo.com
Second, we are celebrating ONE YEAR for THE FIVE service this coming Sunday evening at 5:00 pm right here at Northpark. We will be worshiping together per usual and have a party with free homemade nachos after the service. Everyone is welcome!
Third, we are coming up on our outreach to the central valley town of Huron. As we’ve been speaking about, you don’t have to go overseas to be a missionary, you can and should be one right here in the valley! Contact our office or myself, ryan@northparkchurch.org for more info.
Finally, we have just confirmed that LEAD NOW 2009 will be happening at The Bridge EV Free church in Fresno. We will be co-hosting the event with The Bridge Young Adults group and also involved will be Peoples Church and First Baptist. We are working to make this event the greatest young adults/college training event in Fresno ever! So, mark your calendars now, Nov. 7th 2009…
See you soon!

We’re back from Springfield, Homer says hello.
July 7, 2009
Fittingly, Amelia and I returned to Fresno on the 4th of July, flying into a sky lit up with rockets red glare. I have never felt as happy to see the valley as I was on Saturday. It really looked and felt like home. Sunday was a great day and now Micah and Bekah are back.
If you haven”t heard, we’ve spent the last three and a half weeks working with missionary kids in Missouri. Here are three videos we sent back while we were there. Fourth chapter is forth coming….
